In the Netherlands, there are various subsidy options for improving the energy efficiency of homes, such as replacing single and standard double glazing with HR and Triple glazing. These types of high-performance glass have better insulating properties than single and standard double glazing.
Subsidies may be available, for example, from sustainable energy investment subsidies (ISDE) or regional municipal subsidies.

HR (Triple glass) subsidy in 2025 amounts to 111 euros per m2
